I'm no doctor nor visar, but when I came across this article, I was a bit interested in writing something about this..

The first paragraph does interest me in reading more about the research done by three researcher - Galena Rhoades, Prof Scott Stanley, & Prof Howard MArkman of University of Denver (DU)..
" University of Denver (DU) researchers find that couples who live together before they are engaged have a higher chance of getting divorced than those who wait until they are married to live together, or at least wait until they are engaged. In addition, couples who lived together before engagement and then married, reported a lower satisfaction in their marriages."
It does remind me something - a friend of mine said something like this while commenting on a movie, " Marriage is the gateway of joining 2 family (the husband's & the wife's). NOt to forget, eventhough you did not know anything about your couple, but do believe that you can give a chance to love him (since she's talking to me as a girl, so i use him) in the future."
It is actually not so bad to get to know each other AFTER marriage (not after engaged, because engagement is just like saying that couple is tagged, not tied properly) . From the old folks, they said that the wed-couple is more honest with their couple rather than dating-couple. I dunno how, but I imagine, maybe the wed-couple are more serious toward their relationship if comparing to dating couple (I guess it's up to individuals' goal of life).
About divorce, for me, it's quite a bad news - not to mention the waste of money for the wedding event, the gowns, the rental of the place (materials loss). ALso it's quite time consuming to process the documents, have to go back & forth to straightened things up... Wow, easy to say, it's tiring. Divorce also gave quite an impact for their child, psychologically, not to mention that they have imperfect family comparing to their friends. BUt, do remember, every event that occur, wether it hits like a storm or tsunami, has their meaning behind it, & it brings everyone who involved in the event to evaluate everything from the start.
